Recently, DEOCA organized a delegation, including key leaders of the Group, senior advisors, and some mechanics, to China to work with enterprises specializing in transportation infrastructure construction equipment, such as XCMG, Zoomlion, Sany, PowerChina, and Railway Consulting.

Starting from limited recognition
The key to opening the door to cooperation with leading enterprises in China is to avoid repeating the painful problems in large projects carried out by Chinese enterprises in Vietnam in the past. The issues of quality, progress, and investment capital have led to a loss of trust in society.
Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of DEOCA Group, opened the meeting with PowerChina International in a frank spirit, stating the limitations when Chinese contractors carry out projects in Vietnam.

DEOCA visit two factories of Sany Group in Hunan and Beijing. The automation process by 5G technology, automatic production of machines, and a very effective business market development strategy impressed the DEOCA delegation.
Mr. Ho Minh Hoang expressed his admiration for the development of Sany. However, he thought Sany's investment in the Vietnamese market needed to be connected to Deo Ca - Vietnam's leading transport infrastructure investment group. He said that the two sides should cooperate directly with each other.
Besides three large industrial parks in China, Sany has four research and development centers and factories in India, the US, Germany, and Brazil, besides having a business network in more than 170 countries worldwide. Sany always deducts annual revenue to reinvest in research and development of new technologies to provide customers with the most advanced products. Therefore, DEOCA's proposal was approved by the whole Sany and representatives of the factories.
What cooperation opportunities have been opened?
We thought modern automation lines were synchronously applied when visiting the production and assembly plants at XCMG, Sany, Zoomlion, PowerChina, etc. In those factories, mainly engineers worked instead of workers, as in Vietnamese factories.
Visiting the details of the machinery equipment
PowerChina International and DEOCA agreed on some initial important content during this working trip. First, the two sides would look for suitable projects to participate in the construction bidding. In the long term, they would join from the preparation stage of investment projects and study some others.

According to Mr. Liu Xianxing - Asia-Pacific market director of PowerChina International, PowerChina has taken on many roles in Vietnam, including project development, FS research, EPC general contractor, material supply equipment, and installation project.
In Vietnam, expressway projects often have significant investment capital and a long payback period. DEOCA shared capital mobilization model solution "3P" in the PPP method is widely applied to improve the attractiveness of expressway PPP projects. PowerChina International highly appreciates DEOCA's orientation to focus on core industries to promote advantages and, at the same time, expand into other fields to diversify the business to create sustainable development.

Also, during the business trip, DEOCA worked with Sany Corporation to order a few specific machines and suggested that Sany invest in a synchronous machinery complex and transfer technology for DEOCA to pilot in several projects. In addition, DEOCA would work with Sany to research and apply Sany equipment and train on how to organize production according to DEOCA's criteria, which is international cooperation but ensure technology mastery to optimize production.
Representatives of Sany in Hunan province and Mr. Wang Jincheng - Director of the Sany Beijing drilling factory, were very excited about the cooperation proposals of DEOCA. Mr. Wang Jincheng said that in the past, Sany also started by buying foreign software to apply and develop Sany's technology. "For example, the manufacturing operation management (MOM) application technology was purchased by us from abroad for 100 technology Sany's engineers to study and develop into the manufacturing operation management (IMOM) technology application software of us", shared Mr. Wang Jincheng.
