Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway Project

Overview

Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway belongs to the Eastern North - South Expressway Construction Project for the period 2021-2025. The project has a total investment of more than 20,400 billion VND, with a length of 88km, of which the section through Quang Ngai province is 60.3km long, through Binh Dinh province is 27.7km long. Phase 1 investment phase scale 4 lanes, speed 80km/h. The project is invested by Project Management Board 2 (Ministry of Transport), the construction contractor is led by Deo Ca Group joint venture.

Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon is one of the most difficult sections to construct on the North-South expressway when there are 3 mountain tunnels, including 1 special level tunnel at Km60 with a length of 3,200 meters. The construction time for the bridge and road sections is 34 months and the tunnel section is 42 months, with the entire route expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
