Ngoc Hoi Bridge

Overview

The Ngoc Hoi Bridge and its approach roads investment and construction project is a key transportation infrastructure project classified as Group A, connecting the Thanh Tri area (Hanoi) with the Van Giang area (Hung Yen), contributing to enhanced regional connectivity and socio-economic development in the southern area of Hanoi and neighboring provinces.

The project has a total length of approximately 7.5 km (5.4 km in Hanoi and 2.1 km in Hung Yen). The main bridge across the Red River is 680 m long and 32.3 m wide, accommodating six motor vehicle lanes and two mixed-traffic lanes. The approach roads extend 6.58 km with a width of 33 m. The total investment capital is 386 million USD.

The DEOCA Group consortium is responsible for implementing Package 07/TP3-EPC, valued at 311.73 million USD, which includes design, supply of materials and equipment, and construction of the project (including survey and BIM application).

Upon completion, the Ngoc Hoi Bridge will contribute to redistributing traffic flow, reducing pressure on the city center, mitigating congestion, and enhancing transportation capacity, while promoting economic, cultural, tourism, and urban development along both banks of the Red River.
