The ceremony with the theme Million hearts of love - A thousand happy houses was organized by the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The program aims to engage businesses, organizations, collectives, individuals, both in Vietnam and overseas Vietnamese, to promote the tradition of "Love people as if you love yourself" and build Great Solidarity House for poor households in Dien Bien province and the Northwest region.

The goal of the program is to focus on mobilizing social resources to support the renovation of 7,000 - 8,000 solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and the Northwest region within a year (from May 7, 2023 to May 7, 2024) In which, support Dien Bien province in building 5,000 houses with 50 million VND/house. Remaining support will be provided to other localities in the Northwest. Estimated total funding for support mobilization is 350-400 billion VND.
