Mr. Vo Ngoc Trung, Deputy General Director of Deo Ca Transport Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company said that during the National Day holiday, the company has arranged more working shift in the tunnel with the human force 150% increase compare to normal days. In addition, the company also arranged rescue teams permanent staying at the scene and working closely with the security forces of Danang and Hue provinces to ensure smooth and safe operation for Hai Van tunnel.

Accordingly, in the September 1, Hai Van Tunnel Management & Operation Factory belonging to Deo Ca Transport Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company coordinated with the local police of Danang and Hue to receive and escort the delegations of The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Defense moved through the Hai Van area.

After receiving the information, the Hai Van Tunnel Management & Operation Factory took the initiative in grasping the situation, closely coordinating with the traffic police force and the 2 local police forces to have a suitable plan, increasing patrol, checking the entire North - South entrance roads as well as in the tunnel, arranging rescue and fire prevention & fighting forces, ready to deal with the congestion.

Previously, on August 27, 2019, implementing the coordination regulation between the leaders of the Traffic Police Department of Danang province, Lien Chieu District Police and Hai Van Tunnel Management & Operation Joint Stock Company in the work ensuring security and order, traffic safety, works protection and safety corridor of Hai Van tunnel, these units has held a performance evaluation in the second quarter of 2019.

According to the report of Hai Van Tunnel Management and Operation Joint Stock Company, the volume of traffic recently has increased, higher than the same period last year with 1,345,298 vehicles passing through the tunnel safely, an average of 11,118 vehicles / day, of which on April 29, 2019 has the highest vehicle traffic of 14,974 vehicles.
