On the morning of May 11, the delegation of Quang Ninh province led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited the construction site of Cua Luc 1 bridge project. Accompanying the delegation was Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Vu Van Dien, Secretary of Ha Long city and representatives of related units.
The delegation directly visited the construction site, checked the progress and construction organization of the project. At the site, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky highly appreciated the construction efforts of Deo Ca Group. This is the largest bridge in the province up to now, the first 6-lane bridge, the key traffic project of the province after the merger of Ha Long - Hoanh Bo. The project is invested in order to gradually improve the traffic infrastructure according to the planning, serving the travel needs of the people.
In the face of the complicated situation of Covid-19 epidemic, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky requested the contractor to organize the construction to ensure the progress, quality and safety of the construction site, but still have to strictly implement disease prevention measures, complying with 5K principle as recommended by the Ministry of Health.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Phuong - Deputy Director of the Project Management Board of Cua Luc 1 Bridge said that at present, the project has implemented 52% of the construction volume, and all project staff are determined to both prevent epidemics and ensure the completion of the project according to the set schedule.
Also during the field trip, Secretary of Quang Ninh visited, encouraged and congratulated officials and workers on the construction site of Cua Luc Bridge 1 on the occasion of Workers' Month.
Cua Luc 1 bridge project is a key traffic work that will make an important contribution to reducing the load on Bai Chay bridge - the only transport route connecting the two southern - northern areas of Ha Long city through Cua Luc Bay at the time, ensuring people's travel are convenient and safe in the rainy and stormy season. The project has a total investment of 2,109 billion VND from the provincial budget. The bridge is designed with 6 lanes, 33.1m wide and 290m long, the leading road is 565m long, designed speed of 60km/h.
