On 27/2/2020, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company directly inspected the construction works of this project.

At the XL11 bidding package, the Chairman of BOM recognized the contractor's efforts to keep up with the overall progress of the whole project in the past time, especially praised the spirit of non-holiday working of managers and workers on Lunar New Year. The XL11 has over 4.5km long, taken by Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company ( DCG) since June 2019. It’s located in the middle of other bidding packages so the transportation of machineries, equipments and materials encountered many difficulties. The this is the most difficult package and was implemented later than other constructors because the construction was interrupted until DCG took over and resumed. Although implemented later than other contractors, it still catch up with the overall progress. By the end of February 2020, the bidding package almost completed the wick drain installation and preparing to move to superimposed loading stage.

For Cai Lay Bridge item of XL05 package, the technical incorrect construction was implemented by Bridge 12 JSC before DCG took part in project management and administration. After inspecting, DCG discovered that the previous contractor has constructed wrong position of T2 pedestal's center (the pedestal and the body of the pier had been completed). In response to that situation, basing on the direction of Chairman of DCG, the Board of Directors and Project Management Unit has directed,advised and supervised the contractor to make a record, reporting on evaluation and propose solution is break down and rebuild 02 piers T2 in accordance with approved design.

In the XL08 package of Hoang An contractor, in terms of quality they are satisfactory but the progress is too slow compared to the plan committed with the Investor, especially the construction of Kenh Xang bridge. In order to enhance the contractor's capacity as well as ensuare the general progress, the investor has transferred a part of the bidding package from Km56 + 672.06 to Km57 + 756.85 to other contractor. The Chairman of the BOM requested Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT’s BOD to clarify to the contractor that if there is no workaround we will continue to cut down construction volume or replace contractor. In addition, the BOD also warning some contractors are slowing down and behind schedule after the Lunar New Year holidays, on the other hand creating favorable conditions and policies to support the good contractor which constructing ahead of schedule.
