On January 11th, 2022, Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh - Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of Deo Ca Group inspected the preparation for the traffic opening ceremony and encouraged the workers working on the Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway site.

Looking back at Trung Luong - My Thuan's journey of more than 12 arduous years, there were nearly 10 years when the project almost stood still under the management of the old investor, with 2 times of changing investors, 3 times of stopping the construction,10 years to complete just over 10% of the total volume. By March 2019, Deo Ca Group received the rescue, after more than 2 and a half years of operating and implementing, until now, Trung Luong - My Thuan highway is ready to open to traffic and serve people on Tet holiday 2022.
Mr. Ho Minh Hoang said: “When taking over to manage and operate the project, the current state of the project was very troublesome, it had to be demolished and re-processed many problems, including eliminating the 0 dong investor and contractors do not meet the capacity. In particular, the project went through an area with complex geology, and the implementation process encountered many difficulties such as scarce materials, construction in the context of the Covid epidemic… But with hard work and determination, after more than 2 years of operation, the project has been basically completed to prepare for traffic and welcome people to circulate during Tet”.

Currently, Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway has completed the main route, 51.5km/51.5km has been asphalted. The items of painting road markings, medians, safety nets, road signs... have completed more than 90% of the work volume. “Through actual inspection at the scene, so far, the Trung Luong - My Thuan highway has basically been completed so that this New Year the project will be put into service for people's circulation. This is a great effort of the investor, when the construction has to be carried out in extremely difficult conditions due to the impact of the epidemic", said Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Giang province.
Overcoming many difficulties and challenges, with the efforts of Deo Ca Group, contractors and thousands of employees, along with the attention and direction of the Government, Tien Giang province, ministries/sectors, the the support and consensus of the people... so far, the Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway is ready to open to traffic and put into service on the occasion of the Lunar New Year in order to reduce the load on National Highway 1, thereby affirming the serious work of Deo Ca Group when participating in "rescuing" the project: Real work, real results, creating real value.
