On February 1, 2020, at bidding package XL13, Phu Nhuan Commune, Cai Lay District, Tien Giang Province, Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company held a ceremony emulation of Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway Project connected in December 2020. Accordingly, the installation of wick drain to handle weak soil must be completed in February 2020; the above structure of bridge must be completed in October 2020; the items of road foundation constructing and macadam gravel must be completed by mid-December 2020.

In December 2019, the project was further motivated when the support budget was disbursed more than 1,776 of 2,186 billion VND to repay the capital that the investor had given in advance for the clearing and grubbing. Besides, the consortium of credit capital banks has signed a loan contract of VND 6,686 billion, aiming to complete the final procedures to disburse credit capital in February 2020.
In order to keep up with the general schedule, even on the Lunar New Year occasion, hundreds of people included the Executive Board, managers, engineers, workers still cling to the construction site, work 3 shifts during the whole Tet. Engineers and workers work continuously with a spirit of determination, working to achieve real results, not just a slogan. All of them uninamous in the mutual goal to accelerate the progress and complete the important road of the Mekong Delta. By this time, the cumulative construction progress has reached more than 30% of the total project, accelerating very quickly compared to the previous 10 years.

Trung Luong My Thuan Expressway project was restarted from April 2019, gradually removed difficulties and had such positive changes and improvements thanks to the attention and drastic guidance of the Government and agencies from the central to local levels, and the support of people in the Mekong Delta provinces.
At the launching ceremony, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of BOT Trung Luong - My Thuan emphasized: “I acknowledge and highly appreciate the efforts of our contractors, supervision consultants as well as Project Managerment Board. You have worked 3 shifts / day without break to fulfill the desire of 21 million people in the Mekong Delta, everyone left behind family reunion oppotunity to stay at the construction site, raced against time to keep pace with the project.
We have also received the encouragement of the people and local authorities, but due to the nature of the project is traffic works passing through the residential area, when urgently constructing, the impacts on the daily life of the people is unavoidble. We really hope to receive people’s sympathy and expect the locality to continue propaganda to residentals for the common goal of early completion of the project ”.

The launch of the emulation towards the National Party Congress, contribute support to people on the Lunar New Year 2021 especially when the transportaions increase sharply, incidents on the National Road 1 will occur. In case the road is open, Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Company will propose to the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province to allocate free routes so that motorbikes and cars can run through the Expressway to reduce congestion and traffic pressure to the Southwest.
With the maximum efforts, determination and the speedy constructing spirit to finish the project on time by the end of 2020. The traffic congestion problem will be whereby partially solved at the end of year when the motobikes and cars will be allocated free routes for the New Year Tan Suu 2020. The project is expected to be completed and put into official operation in 2021 when the soft ground is handled.
