In the early days of the new year 2022, people in Quang Ninh were able to walk on Love Bridge after this bridge had been completed with the main construction items. This is also a bridge to help people shorten the time and distance from Hoanh Bo to the center of Ha Long city.
The bridge is designed with 6 lanes, the length of the whole route is 4,265m, which is a work that has made many breakthroughs in Vietnam's bridge construction industry so far, when it is arranged 5 continuous steel spans and does not need to arrange expansion joints in 5 arch spans up to 290 meters long. That is the superiority compared to conventional bridges in Vietnam today.
The project was built by contractors and was implemented by Deo Ca Group as the general contractor in 20 months. It is worth mentioning that at the time of starting construction of Cua Luc 1 bridge, the Covid-19 epidemic escalated as well as the vaccination was not widely implemented as it is today. Thus, the construction implementation process was seriously affected.

Quang Ninh province posed Deo Ca Group a problem, which was to study the architecture of 3 bridges on Cua Luc Bay, including Cua Luc 1, Cua Luc 2 and Cua Luc 3, which are not only used for traffic purposes. Deo Ca Group said that they had consulted with the provincial leaders for suggestions from many leading experts on planning, architecture, structure, etc. Especially, including the advice of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The Prime Minister suggested that Cua Luc bridges should have breakthrough architecture, creating highlights, not simply bridges for traffic, but must be iconic works of Quang Ninh for hundreds of years.
“In order to do this, we think there must be a consensus to link the mechanism from the central to the local, from the local to the contractors, from the contractors to the people. Especially with the support of the central leadership. I remember on the afternoon of the 30th of the New Year, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited Cua Luc construction site, wished New Year's greetings, gave gifts to officials and employees and asked if the completion time of this project ensure progress when the epidemic breaks out. It is true that the Prime Minister's visit to the project was a great honor and encouragement for the staff working at the project, but it was also the responsibility of Deo Ca Group's commitment to punctuality for the project, for the sake of the country", said Mr. Ho Minh Hoang.
A representative of Deo Ca Group said that when they had available personnel, machinery, equipment, and a very thorough preparation of the implementation plan, they were ready to participate in the implementation of Cua Luc 2. The design of Cua Luc 2 project has been assessed by structural experts of Leonhardt Group (Federal Republic of Germany) as one of the top 10 cable-stayed bridges - the world famous inclined arch system.

Deo Ca Group is currently a leading unit in transport infrastructure in Vietnam.
