We, representing the leaders of the Group, the Trade Union and the project leader, who share the system of Deo Ca Group with Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, visited his family in Truong Son village, Truong Lam commune, Nghi Son town, Thanh Hoa province - the house of Mr. Cuong's parents. After the date that fate took the life of Mr. Cuong on May 8, 2022, Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh and Mrs. Le Thi Chien welcomed their daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren home.
His wife, Le Thi Huong, recalled: “That afternoon, my husband said he had to go get some gas to go to work. On the way home from the gas station, he had an accident, he could no longer go to the construction site to perform the scheduled 3rd shift…”.

As we have informed, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong is a welding worker on the payroll of Deo Ca Group, currently constructing package XL-01 (Truong Vinh tunnel), Nghi Son - Dien Chau section, North - South expressway project. Cuong has been a member of Deo Ca system for only 3 months. The first 1.5 months he worked as security staff. However, according to his personal desire to work overtime to increase his income to support his family, the management board arranged to move him to the welding group.
Although he was a newcomer to Deo Ca system, but when the sad incident occurred, all members of the Group including the top leaders, members of the Advisory Council, and Mr. Cuong's “brothers” who are workers at the construction sites of Deo Ca Group, had sent encouragement and expressed the sharing to Mr. Cuong's family through the Group Trade Union.
Vice-Chairman Nguyen Huu Hung (white shirt) gave 130,040,000 VND, which is the amount of money that members of Deo Ca system sent to Mrs. Huong and their daughter.
Mrs. Le Thi Chien could not hide her tears at the love of Deo Ca officers and workers, she said: "He and his wife don't have a house yet. They rented a house recently to live separately, but after the accident, we took our son, his wife, and child home to live together. Your encouragement and sharing greatly motivate our family to overcome the pain and raise the children”.
The house of Mrs. Huong’s family is nearby Truong Vinh tunnel site. Mr. Bui Hong Dang - Director of the Executive Board of the package said that 1/3 of the construction workers are local, so they often go back and forth to visit and encourage their families.
Mrs. Le Thi Chien choked at the affection of Deo Ca people.
Vice-Chairman Nguyen Huu Hung said that when the construction is done, if Deo Ca is assigned to manage and operate the tunnel, the board of directors should pay attention to consider and arrange suitable work for Ms. Huong if she wishes.
