On April 25th, 2019, at the inauguration ceremony of the road to the National Historic Site, the establishment place of Vietnam Journalists Association in Diem Mac commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, Vietnam Journalists Association awarded Order of Merit to Chairman Ho Minh Hoang and Certificate of Merit to Deo Ca Group for the contributions to Vietnam journalism career.

The road to the National Historic Site, the establishment place of Vietnam Journalists Association is over 1km long, it is made of concrete in 18cm thick, with the width of 4m, it is completed after nearly 5 months of construction. All expenditure for the construction of this road is financed by Deo Ca Group.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Ho Quang Loi, Deputy Standing Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association said that 69 years ago (April 21st, 1950) in Roong Khoa hamlet, Diem Mac commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, there was an event that was the establishment of the Journalists Association, now Vietnam Journalists Association.

Time passing by, this place has been recognized by the Government as the National Historic Site. However, the road leading to the establishment place of Vietnam Journalists Association was still pathway, so on rainy days, people faced lots of difficulties.
From that fact, Vietnam Journalists Association mobilized Deo Ca Group to finance for road construction. The opening of the road makes this national historic site an easy destination for local people and visitors. “On behalf of Vietnam Journalists Association, I would like to express my gratitude to the leaders of Deo Ca Group for financing the construction of this road,” said Mr. Ho Quang Loi.

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of Deo Ca Group, said that after knowing from the leader of Vietnam Journalists Association that the road to the establishment place of Vietnam Journalists Association was still pathway, it was difficult for travelling, Deo Ca Group agreed to invest in construction.
“I thought that the construction of this road is reasonable, practical and necessary,” Mr. Hoang said and added this road was even more meaningful when it was here during the anti-French resistance war, President Ho Chi Minh, a great journalist, produced excellent journalistic works, criticizing the colonial regime and arousing the patriotism of Vietnamese people.
Earlier, in the morning of the same day, Vietnam Journalists Association and Deo Ca Group came to thurify at the Memorial House to President Ho Chi Minh in ATK Dinh Hoa.
