In 2 days, 13 - 14/5/2023, in Hanoi, Deo Ca Group invited SAFI Service Company - AHA Training Branch (under the American Heart Association) to train to strengthen basic first-aid skills for employees of the Group.
Lecturers are experts and doctors of the American Heart Association (AHA) in Vietnam.
Overview of the training session
Doctor Dang Thi Hong Lien, a First-Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation lecturer, shared: "We will provide the most basic and practical knowledge about first-aid. These are the fastest handling skills when encountering dangerous situations that affect human health and life. This is useful for yourself and your relatives, and those around you in critical situations. Through this training program, the employees will gain beneficial experience, basic knowledge, and practice in first aid”.

The course content included First-Aid Principles, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Airway Foreign Body, and the Use of an Extrathoracic Defibrillator (AED). The training program took place over two days. Similar courses will be held at other offices throughout the Group.
Mr. Tran Trung Hiep (right) - the Assistant Chairman in health, expressed: "I have gained a lot of experience in handling first aid situations. Studying is very important to the task I am doing to best take care of the health of the head of the Group".
At the program, doctors used modern equipment and models to teach and localize emergency cases such as stroke, drowning, traffic accidents, occupational accidents, etc.
Mr. Bui Ngoc Phu - an expert from the BOM's Office, shared: "Danger situations can happen at any time. Participating in training has helped me to be proactive when facing negative health situations. Hopefully, there will be more practical and meaningful training sessions like this for Deo Ca employees in the near future".
