On April 11, 2023, Deo Ca Group's Trade Union held the 3rd Congress - term 2023 - 2028. The congress was held at the headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City and online at the offices in Hanoi and Da Nang.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Ho Nhu Cat Tuong - Vice President of the Labor Confederation of District 1, Colonel Truong Hong Hai - Senior Advisor of the Group, leaders of the Group, the Party cell and all union members.
In the letter to the Trade Union, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of the Board of the Group expressed his concern: “The Group is entering a new period of development, posing the task of drastically and comprehensively renovating the organization and operation of the Trade Union. I ask the executive of trade unions to raise a sense of responsibility, a creative and positive spirit, comprehend the aspirations of union members and employees; fight the inadequacies of the mechanism to solve the problems of employees; organize emulation movements, propaganda and education activities, build a culture with the identity of Deo Ca".

The congress summarized and evaluated the trade union movement and activities in the past term, outlined the achievements, pointed out the existence. On that basis, the Trade Union set out directions, key tasks, specific solutions to implement for the new term.

After listening to the draft report summarizing the activities of the last term and the direction of activities for the next term, the congress discussed the shortcomings and causes of the existing shortcomings, on that basis, find out solutions to overcome difficulties and fulfill the targets set out by the congress in the coming term.
Colonel Truong Hong Hai said that the last term was a hard period for domestic and foreign businesses due to the impact of epidemics, natural disasters, and complicated socio-economic situations. In that context, our businesses and employees have made great efforts to overcome difficulties, the Group's trade union has also achieved the targets set during the term, especially activities to take care of employees' lives.

“The trade union organization needs to continue to promote emulation, creativity, arts and sports movements to create new motivations, build a united collective of workers, complete the task set out," said Mr. Hai.
The congress also received many important comments from the representatives of the District 1 Labor Confederation, the Board of Management, the Executive Board, the Party cell and representatives of other units.
Ms. Ho Nhu Cat Tuong orients the Trade Union activities
Ms. Ho Nhu Cat Tuong said that she will continue to closely accompany the Union’s activities so that the set targets meet the actual situation, in the immediate future, to sign a labor collective action.
“In the past time, the Trade Union has many practical activities to take care of the lives and ensure the legitimate rights of workers. In the next term, the Trade Union Executive Committee should continue to promote its functions and duties to be the connection between officials, employees and the company”, Ms. Cat Tuong said.
The Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union new term takes over the task
The Congress also elected 11 members of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the term of 2023 - 2028. Speaking to take over the task, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh - Chairman of the Trade Union affirmed that the new Executive Board will make constant efforts to respond to the trust of trade union members by making trade union activities more practical and effective.
