The Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project is 88km long, divided into three construction and installation packages by DEOCA Group as the consortium leader. The consortium's representative said the whole route has mobilized 35 construction teams with more than 1,800 employees and 686 machinery and equipment. The goal is to disburse 4,000 billion VND for the project this year.

The 3rd shift construction team in the North of Tunnel 1 arranged about 30 personnel and dozens of vehicles, machines, and equipment. Machines hardly rest. Workers and engineers rotate work on 24/24.

Tunnel No. 2 and Tunnel No. 3 are arranged for construction on 24/24.
Tunnel No. 2 is 700m long at the route Km57 of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway. The project's Executive Board is working on a plan to increase the excavation teams and enhance the excavation method to speed up the progress. The goal is to open Tunnel No. 2 by the end of 2023. Utilize the tunnel to make a service road to shorten the time and costs for transferring people, machinery, equipment, and materials between Tunnel No. 1, Tunnel No. 3, and other items.
Both the tunnel items and the path are also being promoted for night shift construction. Unlike the building tunnel inside limits the influence of the weather, the progress of the path will be significantly affected by the weather.
Contractors are speeding up to make up for the upcoming stormy season.
