On February 12 2020 when the security patrol team No. 3 of Thang Long - Deo Ca Logistics Security Service Joint Stock Company (the company is hired by the investor to patrol and protect Trung Luong My Thuan Expressway Project) patrolled along the planned route approved by the investor.When the security guard team filmed the construction work for reporting, a guy named Phong (construction worker under the management of Tuan Loc contractor in XL18 bidding package) took offensive actionsand prevented the security guard team from filming and taking photos.After that, Phong attacked Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut (an employee of the security patrol team No. 3) by a homemade knife, causedhim serious injuries and was hospitalized for emergency care at Cho Ray Hospital.

On the investor side, after the incident happened, they quickly rushed the injured guard to hospital and also reported to Cai Be district police, Tien Giang provincial police (room PA04) to solve the case.Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company (project enterprise) and Tien Giang provincial police, Management Board of Investment Project of Civil - Industrial Construction in Tien Giang province have available coordination regulations to ensure security and order for Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway project which was signed in July 2019.
Accordingly, Tien Giang Provincial Police will coordinate with the Management Board of Civil Works - Industrial Construction Investment Project of Tien Giang Province and the Project Enterprise to handle the law violations and actions affect the project implementation process. The security guards take a great resolve together with the investors and the contractor to follow the construction site to finish the project on time”, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - General Director of Thang Long - Deo Ca Logistics Security Service JSC said.
According to Mr. Hieu, at present, to strictly protect and monitor the whole construction, there are nearly 100 security guards taking turns working 24/24 hours at the construction site. In addition, the investor also installed surveillance camera on the entire route.
