In the afternoon of August 15, 2019, at the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue Province, Chairman of the province Phan Ngoc Tho had a meeting with Deo Ca Group on the content of the technical completion ceremony of Hai Van 2 tunnel

At the meeting, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang reported to Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho about the progress of Hai Van 2 tunnel expansion and technical completion ceremony plan, scheduled for September 27, 2019.

Deo Ca Group also reported to the Ministry of Transport on the organization of the technical completion ceremony at the North entrance of Hai Van tunnel in Lang Co town, Phu Loc district and sugguested Thua Thien - Hue province to coordinate in organization as well as report and invite Government leaders to attend.

Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho agreed and said that he would soon report to the Central Committee on this issue. In the near future, he will directly inspect the construction site of Hai Van 2 tunnel to encourage workers who are working at the site. The Chairman of Thua Thien - Hue Provincal Commettee asked the province and Deo Ca Group to work together to develop a detailed plan for the technical completion ceremony.

“The item of the expanding Hai Van 2 tunnel is a difficult project when both constructing and operating are carried out simultaneously. After being put into operation, Hai Van 2 tunnel will be a national stature work. Due to the Hai Van 2’s opening is an important milestone, the province together with the competent agencies will accopany with the Deo Ca Group to well organize this ceremony”, said Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho.

Previously, on July 13, 2019, Deo Ca Group collaborated with the People's Committee of Lang Co town (Thua Thien Hue) to visit and give gifts for 76 disadvantaged families and individuals.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dong, Vice Chairman of Deo Ca Group, Director of Hai Van PMU affirmed: “Besides constructing works, Deo Ca Group always cares about people affected by the project, parishioners and disadvantaged families. The Group thanked the households in the land clearance area for agreeing to come to a new place so that people can have a new century significant project for the socio-economic development requirement not only for Hue - Da Nang but also for the whole country”.
