On April 16, 2022, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee broke ground of the Cat Tien - Diem Van coastal road project in Binh Dinh province. The project has a total investment of more than VND 2,600 billion of state budget capital, the general contractor is a consortium led by Deo Ca Group.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Le Hai Binh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province; Former leaders of Binh Dinh province over the years; representatives of departments, agencies and construction contractors.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long emphasized the importance of the route for the socio-economic development of the localities where the project passes in particular and for Binh Dinh province in general. At the same time, require contractors to work seriously, comply with quality standards and ensure progress.

“As this is a bidding project, the parties will strictly follow the regulations. This is also a stepping stone for Deo Ca to further affirm to the people that the Group is a capable enterprise, and at the same time report to the Government the preparation to implement the North - South expressway projects phase 2”, Mr. Ho Dinh Chung said.

The Cat Tien - Diem Van coastal road project belongs to group A, implemented in the period of 2021 - 2024 in Phu Cat and Tuy Phuoc districts. The total project investment capital is nearly 2,675 billion VND with the state budget capital.

The project has a total length of more than 13.5km, road bed width is 20.50m, the construction time is expected to be 32 months. After the completion, the route will meet the transportation demand, strengthen the traffic connection between the provinces in the eastern coastal areas of the province with the center of Quy Nhon city, and expand and develop the urban area to the North of Quy Nhon city.
