Humanity has entered the new year 2020, a meaningful figure. A meaningful year for each person and also Deo Ca Group with young and full of aspirations on burning national pride. In the atmosphere of the new year, I actually wanted to write something meaningful about this corporation.

I acquaint and become attached to Deo Ca Group and with Chairman Ho Minh Hoang personally since October 2009 when Hoang from Phu Yen to the Capital started to find opportunities for his youth aspirations. At the first meeting, I felt the spirit on this intelligent face and the desire to do something meaningful for his country, homeland and people. Hoang's desire to make a road tunnel through Ca mountain was really appealing to me because it “hit the spot” of my the career and scientific philosophy of sustainable development that I was pursuing. I agreed to accompany Hoang from then.
The two of us are really like father and son, but at work, Hoang and I are partners. I was spread and activated the latent desires by Ho Minh Hoang. The aspirations and strong wills of this young man were so special that it made me, who taught many people but often had to think hard whenever Ho Minh Hoang proposed an idea. Therefore, when I was invited by Hoang to be an Advisor, I fully explained the nature of my "CỐ VẤN" (advisor) title, which is to be "CỐ" (try) every time Ho Minh Hoang "VẤN" (consult). And this is also the connotation of the “Advisory Council” that I often introduce to each expert who invited by Hoang to join the Advisory Council. Perhaps so, on the first days of 2020, I want to discuss something about the core values of Deo Ca. Why after only 10 years, Deo Ca brand became one of the 10 largest and most prestigious brands in Vietnam. Perhaps, I will not talk much about the unique values of the young Chairman, but I would like to discuss the real values that have created the position of the Group today.
Different management skills
Being a scientist who fortunate to experience management positions: command of construction sites, Leaders of Construction Science Research Institute and Heads of State Agency for Construction Quality Inspection, I highly appreciate the special value of Deo Ca Group as "Different management skills". It is a science of governance in which the science of gathering and exploiting human resources is at the forefront. Perhaps few startups know how to exploit an actual advisors team with a wide range of fields not only consulting but also a model of dedication aspirations to the younger generation. Using the principle of personalize the "zoo" model to explain the management process makes the functions, tasks and relationships between individuals and positions easy to understand and implement.

Diverse management philosophies not only create the people’s desire to contribute to the growth of the Group but also for the maturity and progress of themselves. Besides man-using skill is the operating skill. Sometimes it will be harsh but for those who have worked together will find this is an opportunity to do better. Is this drastic direction a the "medicine" that activates the creativity of each person? I have observed over the years and confirm that anyone who has absorbed this "medicine" has made progress. The leader also has many special creations in dealing with the leaders of the Government, ministries, branches, People's Committees at all levels and partners to create companionship on the basis of understanding and trust. This objective support creates a certain success for us over the past time and it is also the value that needs further analysis and evaluation when discussing the role and position of this "value".
Specific constructions have real value
Deo Ca, Cu Mong tunnels, Bac Giang-Lang Son expressway are special-grade projects in the transportation field that were mostly done by foreigners before. With these constructions, we have delivered the message: Vietnamese people can absolutely make modern international-standards works with their own intellect and bravery.
There is no greater pride when Vietnamese people assert their national pride by making magnificent products right in their own country. The value of the works we completed is very specific and quantifiable: high quality, fast progress and cost reduction compared to the total investment approved. This is the big “distinction” with public investment projects that have frustrating issues such as: increasing cost, slow progress, low quality that have become “incurable diseases” of many public investment projects in our country. Those are real values with full convincing evidence.
Corporate culture with nature love
This culture is the values that we are building for the Group through activities of caring for material life, not only encouraged by the material values but also by the spiritual values. Many songs praising the country and the works of the Group, the working philosophy for employees and their families so that every one vows to have a long-term and devoted commitment to the Group's sustainable development. We also spread love with many unfortunate fates or in need. This culture created for Deo Ca people to be more introverted, more socially responsible and believe in good values. That belief needs to be fostered in order to firmly believe in the development of the country and the Group.
I also feel that these human values inspire every Deo Ca people to love nature and to preserve the values that nature offers to humankind. The mountain tunnels, the eco-friendly roads are making up the very core values of the Deo Ca people who have long vision to see the compliance with the principle of sustainable development are: today's constructions are not only intended to serve our immediate needs but also not to harm the needs of future generations. The next generation will still enjoy the quality works we build today because of its longevity and unspoilt nature. Loving nature and exploiting nature friendly for the purpose today are also the human values that Deo Ca culture has brought.

Knowledge and the ability to manipulate knowledge
In recent years, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang's concern about the Group's sustainable development and the quality of human resources has always been considered as the most important factor that challenges stability. But the quality of human resources is not only the number of dedicated and loyal people but also need "knowledge and ability to apply knowledge into practice". The way we are training key and high quality human resources through a prestigious training institution and a modern training program is the most basic way of providing management knowledge. But learning must go hand in hand with practice. Only when the knowledge gained be transformed into solutions for specific problems so it is respected.
Sometimes, not all leaders understand and clever apply the management philosophies such as: “daily life math”, “imperfect couple”, “speed make faith, open-mind make strength” in the reality of administration and daily management in their company. Perhaps through learning new knowledge and putting into specific cases and situations is the way to build a leadership team more effectively and remember longer. Training to select talented and knowledgeable people and also through training to rearrange the organization to appropriate with each person's true ability.
Some ilding thoughts at the beginning of the year about some of the Group's core values according to personal feelings and it is not enough. There are many occasions we discuss more deeply, more detail in the good values creating Deo Ca brand today. And it is also necessary to discuss the value of unsuccessful lessons for the Group to step up, remove obstacles to sustainable develop, deserving the Deo Ca reputation that we have created and are the pride of everyone attached to Deo Ca.
