On March 25, 2023, in Binh Duong, Deo Ca Group and Becamex IDC Corp signed a strategic cooperation agreement on research and investment in transport infrastructure projects in Binh Duong and some other provinces.

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to cooperate in studying and proposing investment in transport infrastructure projects in the South, notably the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project, Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4, Metro railway section of Suoi Tien station - Binh Duong New City, some waterways, ports, logistics centers, etc.

DCG and Becamex are the leading capable and experienced enterprises in Vietnam's transport and urban infrastructure development, with strengths in investment in industrial-urban projects and key traffic projects.

The cooperation objective is to exploit, promote the strengths and effectively use the resources of the two sides to expand and develop together.

The two sides agreed to establish a consortium and contribute capital to implement each specific project, prioritizing the use of each other's services and products to ensure the principles of competition, fairness, publicity, transparency, and effectiveness. Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway is the first project proposed by two businesses to be implemented under the PPP method with a total estimated investment of about VND 24,000 billion.

The signing ceremony was held during the "Binh Duong: Start - Connect - Develop" conference organized by the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, representatives of many State agencies and businesses.

Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, said that Binh Duong has been promoting investment in completing the transport infrastructure system and creating a lot of room to attract investors. With an open policy, Binh Duong attracted many large enterprises to cooperate, including DCG.

"The cooperation agreements between Becamex and DCG are beneficial for Binh Duong and its partners to evaluate the results, share experiences, and set out effective cooperation directions in the coming time." Mr. Vo Van Minh emphasized.
