In the afternoon of July 31, 2020, Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company collaborated with the Police of Tan Dinh Ward and Fire Fighting and Rescue Police team - District 1 Police to organize fire fighting and rescue rehearsal at the Group's headquarters, 32 Thach Thi Thanh St., District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
The hypothetical situation is: At 3:00 pm on the 6th floor of the building, an electric shock caused a fire with smoke rising. The fire became a major conflagration and spread to surrounding areas. At the time the fire occurred, there were about 70 people working in the building, 04 people being trapped in the fire.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the Building Management Board immediately informed the to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police team - District 1 Police, at the same time, the company’s standing fire fighting force made fire alarm and quickly evacuated people in the building through the emergency exits to the emergency assembly points; searched and rescued trapped victims; moving out important properties; regulating traffic in front of the building; conducting firefighting by mini fire extinguishers ...
About 10 minutes after receiving the information, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police team - District 1 Police approached the scene, collaborated with the company’s fire fighting force to extinguish the fire and search, rescue trapped victims, conduct first aid and send to hospital for treatment. After 30 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished.
Through the rehearsal, the local Police force could improve their professional qualifications, grasp the characteristics of the company, identify hydrant system, internal and external evacuation maps of the company to timely handling when fire incident occurs.
At the same time, the rehearsal also raised the fire prevention awareness for all employees in the building, provided the instruction to use fire-fighting equipment on site, on the other hand, disseminating the process of escapes, evacuatation maps and emergency assembly points when necessary.
