On January 8, 2020, to check the readiness of troubleshooting handling, rescue and coordination among the units during the operation of the Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway, the Bac Giang - Lang Son BOT PMU organizes fire and rescue drill on Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway.

The drill was attended by the representatives of Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security, Lang Son Province Construction and Investment Project Management Unit, Fire Prevention and Transport Police of Lang Son and Bac Giang Provinces, representatives from Lang Son provincial Department of Transport and district police of Huu Lung, Chi Lang (Lang Son province), Lang Giang, Bac Giang City (Bac Giang province).

In the assumed scenario, the Expressway Operation Management Center was noticed by the staff on the hotline that there is information from the people reported about the incident at Km 68 + 000 in Lang Son - Bac Giang direction in Hoa Lac commune, Huu Lung district, Lang Son province. There were a group of cars that have collided continuously leading to local congestion, other vehicles can not move, there is a risk of prolonged traffic congestion. At the scene, 2 people were injured and the car stalled and risked fire. The vehicles cannot move in the direction from Lang Son to Bac Giang.

Receiving the incident information, BOT Bac Giang - Lang Son Joint Stock Company coordinated with the road traffic control patrol team of the Traffic Police Department to directly command the operation and rescue units at scene. Coordinate with functional agencies to direct the operation at the Traffic Control Center to help normal traveling back on the route.

Through the incident-handling drills helping the participants such as the Technical Management Company, the functional forces, the expressway control patrol team of the Traffic Police Department, Traffic Police, local police can exchange, supplement knowledge and learn from experience for incident situations on Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway to ensure time to reach the scene and handle the incidents according to regulations, reduce human and property damage to society.

Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway is accepted to be put into operation by the State Council for Acceptance of Construction Works at Document No. 25 / TB-HDNTNN dated December 18, 2019, expected to be put into operation for free 30 days of Lunar New Year.
