On January 25, 2021, within the framework of the program to visit typical businesses on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2021, the delegation of Tien Giang province led by Mr. Tran Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee visited employees of Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company.
The delegation also had the presence of leaders of Finance Department, the Transport Department and the Management Board of Civil and Industrial Projects of Tien Giang Province.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Tran Van Dung visited and encouraged officials, workers and employees because they had to celebrate Tet away from home. Besides, he also suggested that the company closely coordinate with local authorities to speed up construction progress and ensure project quality.

On the same day, the delegation also went directly to the project site to check the progress and the conditions to temporary open to traffic during the upcoming Lunar New Year. With the plan and determination set out, Mr. Tran Van Dung asked investors and contractors to focus their resources, by all means to complete the remaining work to ensure the plan to temporary open to traffic 5 days before and 5 days after Lunar New Year in case National Road 1 is congested. Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Giang province asked the Department of Transport to advise and submit to the Provincial People's Committee a plan to organize traffic on Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway. After completing the conditions for the route, Tien Giang province will send invitation to the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam - the Ministry of Transport to examine the conditions for temporary open on this expressway and have an agreed doccument with the province.

On the side of the company, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dong - General Director of Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company said, in order to prepare the most thoughtful way to serve people, the company and contractors have been focusing on human and material resources to complete the remaining items to meet the conditions for vehicle traveling. In addition, in order to give people peace of mind when traveling on the route and avoid overpay that often happens during Tet, the business has rented several mobile tire repair cars available on the route, fix free for people having tire failure when going on the expressway. “The most important goal of the business during this Tet holiday is to serve people with smooth and safe traffic”, General Director Nguyen Tan Dong said.
In order to fulfill the commitment under the direction of the Prime Minister to open the project before December 31, 2020, in the past year, the investor and thousands of officials, engineers and workers at the project have overcame all difficulties in both financial and technical terms, organizing the construction of “3 throughout”: “Throughout the night”, “through the holidays, Tet”, “throughout the epidemic”. Up to now, the project has connected whole route and is ready to serve people during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
