On January 30, 2021, in the framework of the 2020 year-end program in Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen province, in order to commend the efforts and contributions of outstanding employees for the overall achievement of the Group in 2020, Chairman of the Board of Management and representatives of Advisory Council, Board of Management of Deo Ca Group had a conversation and listened to the sharings of 15 typical officers, employees representing for more than 6,000 officers and employees in the whole Group system.

The Chairman of the Board of Management, the Advisory Council and the Group's leaders meet up with the typical officers and employees of 2020.

The typical employees are chefs, toll collectors, construction workers, engineers, and specialists from professional departments who share their thoughts and feelings about the Chairman and Deo Ca Group. All are proud of themselves to be a member of Deo Ca house. No matter where they are working, they are committed to adhering, work wholeheartedly, and conscientiously for the common development of the system.

The Chairman of the Board of Management was touched and impressed by Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Thuy, the lunch lady of Hai Van tunnel, who made a poem for the captain she admires. More specifically, although she is just a person who only knows how to go to the market, prepare the meals for the staff in the project, she also learns and is very interested in the culture, management tools and even known the “Centralized growth strategy” of the Chairman of the Board.

It can be said that in 2020, Deo Ca Group has overcome many difficulties, turned challenges into opportunities and recorded great and meaningful imprints on all three regions North - Central - South of the country. This success comes from the mutual efforts of all employees. After that, on the afternoon of January 31, 2021, Deo Ca Group also held Excellent secretary competition in 2020, with the aim of evaluating the training work, supplementing knowledge, ideology, and examine the soft skills of the secretaries and assistants of Deo Ca Group’s leaders.

Attending the program was the Chairman of Deo Ca Group, Hung Thinh Group, South Central Group, members of the Advisory Council of Deo Ca Group, teachers from Hanoi National Economics University and the secretaries of leaders from Hung Thinh Group, South Central Group and typical students at some universities.

Overview of the Excellent Secretary Competition 2020

The contest aims to help the secretaries have the opportunity to exchange, practice their professional capacities, behavioral skills, creativity, talents and enhance mutual cultural exchanges between Deo Ca and other partners and students at universities, from which candidates can enrich their knowledge, comprehend the message, strategic direction of the companies, apply to the real work. At the same time, the units also identify the competencies and talents of the candidates to plan and develop future personnel.

Team “Plowing” won the first prize of the Competition

The secretarial team for leaders is the General Directors, the Vice Chairmen of the Board of Management and the Chairman, the guest secretaries are divided into 3 groups “Bird hunting”, “Fishing” and “Plowing”. Through teamwork interactions or personal statements, the secretaries show their knowledge as well as their professional skills in the exams: Communication and behavior skills; Planning, teamwork skills; Presentation skills, spread by music culture and answer situational questions posed by the judges.

According to the final result, Mr. Nguyen Gia Huan - Secretary of the Standing Vice Chairman of the Board of Management Luu Xuan Thuy won the award for Excellent secretary, team “Plowing” led by coach Phan Van Thang and Dr. Nguyen Huu Dung won the best secretary team award, and the best coach award went to Vice Chairman Tran Van The and General Director Nguyen Tan Dong.

Chairman Ho Minh Hoang assessed that the secretaries are extended arms of the leaders, so the secretaries must seriously learn and face uncompleted things to improve professional skills and self-complete.

From the beginning of 2020, Deo Ca Group has implemented training programs, examining assistants and secretaries to foster knowledge and skills. This is one of the training activities in the human resource planning roadmap of Deo Ca Group system.
