Chairman Ho Minh Hoang gave many compliments to the Executive Board, the contractors of the construction of the Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway when he toghether with the Senior Advisory Council and the bank's representatives conducted the inspection on contruction progress of this expressway on May 9th, 2019.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, General Director of BOT Bac Giang - Lang Son Company said that this expressway has now completed 83% of the workload. From now until the end of 2019, the Executive Board sets out the completion milestones, in which by August 31rd, the basic construction work will be completed to open technical traffic on October 31rd and put into operation the day after on November 01st. It is expected that fee collection will be officially applied at the toll in early 2020.
Currently, the construction of Bac Giang - Lang Son highway still get stuck in 02 ground clearance positions, which have not yet been handed over. In addition, the arising problem towards ground clearance for frontage road is also affecting the construction progress. To solve this problem, the Executive Board urged the locality to organize coercion and hand over the site within May 2019.
At the project site, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang highly appreciated the efforts of the Executive Board, contractors, the Chairman was impressed by efforts of Minh Dang contractor to resolve difficulties and complete the bidding package with good quality, he also highly rated Hoang Long contractor for its invention of building the lane separator.

After inspecting the road, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang said that it was basically favourable and he was satisfied with the construction quality. The Head of DCG requested the Executive Board to focus on completing the clearance, grass planting on taluy roofs, local roads, toll booths, enhancing labor safety, planting trees to create beautiful clean green landscapes along the Expressway.
Regarding difficulties in the disbursement of bank capital that the Management Board of BOT Bac Giang - Lang Son Express said at the meeting later on, Mr. Chu Van Hao, Deputy Director of Vietinbank Hanoi said: “The bank has not yet given any statement on stopping the disbursement. The bank must reconsider for some periods towards this issue. At this stage, we are ready to disburse the capital”.
In order to accelerate the disbursement process, the Deputy Director of Vietinbank Hanoi requested the companies implementing the project to complete report of arising costs and send it to the funding sponsor. The representative of Vietinbank Hanoi said that he believed the Bac Giang - Lang Son highway would be completed on time and meet the quality requirements.

At the meeting, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung, former Minister of Transport, Chairman of Deoca Group's Senior Advisory Council voiced his impression on the construction progress and quality of Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway. “In a very short time of construction, achieving current outcome is a great success. I have been following up many traffic projects so far, no project has been implemented as quickly as this one (since Deoca replaced former investor). We are on the right track with the planning of Asia highway network”said Mr. Ho Nghia Dung.
Besides, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung also reminded some contractors to concern more about safety issues on the construction site, and recommend local authorities to create a modern rest station.
