Currently, there are thousands of people moving in groups by motorbike with a lot of luggage from the southern provinces to their hometown to avoid the epidemic.

The number of those people is increasing day by day, while the weather in the Central region in the rainy season is very dangerous when traveling through the pass road. Realizing that, to shorten the travel time and ensure the safety for the people, Hai Van Tunnel Operations Management Enterprise has cooperated with the local forces to "open" the tunnel system in the Central region that the company in operation including Co Ma, Deo Ca, Cu Mong and Hai Van to support people moving through the tunnels. The support began from the evening of October 6.

The company expects the people to strictly follow the instructions of the Tunnel Operations Management Board and local authorities while moving through the tunnels, comply with operating safety regulations on Covid-19 prevention.

Previously, from the evening of July 26 to July 30, Hai Van tunnel operation management enterprise coordinated with Da Nang city government to transship people and vehicles through the tunnel. More than 10,000 people with more than 7,000 motorbikes have passed through Hai Van tunnel in a short time and absolutely safe.
