On July 2, 2023, the first drill of ICV Vietnam Construction and Investment Company (ICV) of DEOCA Group was carried out to open tunnel No. 3 of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway project. This is an essential milestone for ICV and the project's overall progress.

TOn the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway, there are three tunnels through the mountains, including tunnel No. 1, 2 of package XL2, and tunnel No. 3 of package XL3. Tunnel No. 1 is 610m long, tunnel No. 2 is 700m long, and tunnel No. 3 is a special grade tunnel 3,200m long. Once completed and put into use, tunnel No. 3 will become the third-longest tunnel in the country, after the Hai Van and Deo Ca tunnels.

In addition to the strength of material production, ICV is now promoting the implementation of tunnels, roads, and bridges. In this project, ICV has been assigned to implement 1/2 tunnel No. 3, the road from km61+245 - Km65, and three bridges. With the capacity and initiative to prepare, ICV constantly affirms that it will work with other contractors to bring the tunnel and other items it participates into the finish line on time.
