On August 15, 2023, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Road Administration, Deoca Group cooperated with the College of Road Transport to organize the opening ceremony of the first training course on expressway management and maintenance skills.
Attending the ceremony were Mr Nguyen Xuan Cuong - Director of the Vietnam Road Department; Mr Nguyen Duc Phu - Vice Principal of Road Transport College; Mr Nguyen Quang Vinh - General Director of Deoca Group. The ceremony was attended by 31 students who are employees of Deoca Group's expressway operation and maintenance staff.

At the beginning of the opening ceremony, Mr Nguyen Duc Phu highly appreciated the capacity and experience of Deo Ca Group in the field of investment and construction, especially the management and operation of road traffic projects. Here, he announced the first Course decision and affirmed that he would actively accompany Deoca Group to ensure the most effective training. "This training class is necessary to meet the need for human resources for road management, operation and maintenance in Vietnam. The two sides will strive to cooperate to continuously enhance the quality of teaching and attract learners, focusing on applicability in practical work," the school's Vice Principal shared.

Students participating in the training class are technical and road maintenance staff of Deoca Group who have received specialized training and have been with the Group for two years or more. Students will be taught by lecturers and experts with extensive experience in traffic project management and exploitation. Each training course is conducted for one month in the form of professional development.

On behalf of the Vietnam Road Department, Mr Nguyen Xuan Cuong thanked Deoca Group for always actively accompanying the Department and the traffic industry in recent times. At the same time, he believes that the Group is the infrastructure leader and continues to coordinate with the school to complete the course and provide high-quality human resources for the management and operation of road projects.
"The Ministry of Transport's policy is to have 3,000km by 2025 and to complete the set 5,000km by 2030. Thus, the goal is that by 2025, we will need about 6,000 personnel and about 10,000 quality personnel by 2030 to meet the needs of developing the country's transportation infrastructure network", said the Vietnam Road Department

At the ceremony, Mr Nguyen Quang Vinh - General Director of Deoca Group, emphasized fostering professional management, operation and maintenance of highway projects to promote strengths and expertise. , experience, applying advanced science and technology, and training high-quality human resources for Deoca Group. In addition, the representative of Deoca Group thanked the Vietnam Road Administration for trusting and connecting so that Deo Ca and the school could deploy a quality course to help solve the business's human resources, contributing to realizing the plan of the Ministry of Transport. "We believe that this cooperation will bring practical results and contribute positively to the overall development of the country's transportation industry," Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh expressed.
Through the course, students improve their knowledge and professional skills. After completing the course, the principal will organize an exam and issue a graduation certificate to the students.
Previously, on April 23, 2023, the College of Road Transport and Deoca Group signed a cooperation agreement. Accordingly, the two sides coordinate training, scientific research, technology transfer, recruitment, internships, sponsoring the school's teaching activities and organizing a series of activities.
Over the past decade, Deoca Group has invested and built more than 22 km of road tunnels out of 27 km of cross-mountain tunnels, more than 300km of highways and national highways, six large bridges and managed and operated them. Many key transportation projects across the country. To be ready to accompany the Government's goal of completing 5,000km of expressways by 2023, Deoca Group has made careful preparations, in which human resource development training is a factor that is given top priority.
College of Road Transport is a training unit under the Vietnam Road Administration, with 63 years of experience training human resources for the Vietnam road industry. With many outstanding achievements during its operation, the school was honoured to be awarded the Second Class Labor Medal by the State in 1997, the Third Class Labor Medal in 1982 and 1983, and many times by superior agencies. Awarded Excellent Emulation Flag, Certificate of Merit and Certificate of Merit. Currently, the school has 120 officials and lecturers who are professionally trained, professional and have political qualifications according to their titles and meet the required standards.
