This is the third day vehicles are allowed to run on Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway. Compared to two days ago, the number of vehicles moving on the expressway has doubled today. The rescue force of the project enterprise is mobilized to strengthen and on duty 24/24 to promptly support and handle incidents occurring on the line.
At 12:52 on January 27, 2022, the ambulance with the license plate 66A - 003.24 carried the patient to hospital in the direction from An Thai Trung intersection to Than Cuu Nghia, when reaching Ba Rang bridge, the car stopped. Received information from the control center and considered this to be an emergency situation, the Executive Board immediately directed the rescue force to approach the scene to handle the incident.
The ambulance of Deo Ca Group promptly transferred the patient to the hospital
In order not to delay the time for the patient's emergency, the Executive Board chose the option of sending a rescue truck to the scene of the accident to transport the ambulance to Than Cuu Nghia intersection and arranging an ambulance of the Deo Ca Group to transfer the patient to the hospital. After about 20 minutes since the incident, the patient and family were transferred to a new ambulance to continue moving.
Mr. Cao Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the Project Management Board, said: “To ensure traffic order and safety on Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway, within 15 days that vehicles are allowed to circulate during the Lunar New Year holiday, the project enterprise has fully arranged specialized vehicles and equipment with a team of operators, rescuers, ambulances, fire fighters, etc., standing at the beginning, middle and end points of the route. Especially, we arranged 24/24 patrol force to timely detect and support people during circulation”.
In addition, the project enterprise together with related agencies include the Department of Transport of Tien Giang province, the police of Tien Giang province, the People's Committee and the police of Chau Thanh, Tan Phuoc, Cai Lay, Cai Be districts, In Cai Lay Commune, the traffic police force of Team 7-C08 signed the Code of Coordination to operate, regulate and handle related issues during the opening of the route.
At the same time, in order to promptly receive information about incidents occurring on Trung Luong - My Thuan route, project enterprise has opened a hotline 1900.86.86.77 to receive incident information to promptly handle and support people.
After 3 days of circulation, the rescue force promptly assisted and handled more than 20 incidents of vehicle breakdown, engine failure and 2 car collisions, no human damage was recorded.
Previously, according to the plan agreed by the People's Committee of Tien Giang province, from 0:00 on January 25 to February 10, 2022, cars were allowed to run on the main route of Trung Luong – My Thuan expressway from Than Cuu Nghia intersection to An Thai Trung intersection and vice versa. Vehicles will run smoothly from the beginning to the end of the route and are not allowed to stop, park or turn to the side roads. Oversized and overloaded vehicles, container trucks of 20 feet or more, trailers, trucks carrying flammable materials, pedestrians, motorcycles, rudimentary vehicles and motorbikes are not allowed to enter the expressway.
