On May 7th, 2019, on the scene of the Trung Luong - My Thuan project, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Corporation checked and evaluated the implementation of packages in the re-construction of the contractors and checked the completion of the office at the project site in Cai Lay, Tien Giang.
At 14:30 on May 7th, Vietnam’s Western region’s sky was hot in the intense sun with the indication of 36.5oC. Everyone was soaked in sweat. At Kenh Lang Bridge (Than Cuu Nghia Commune, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province), Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT went to the construction site to inspect the scene.
The Chairman listened to the Project managers, Project management consultant, Supervision consultant and Contractor management board reporting on the status of construction at the site, difficulties and problems.
In the 6th package of the contractor, DEOCA Group, constructing the abutment of the T5 bridge abutment at Kenh Lang Bridge, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang highly appreciated the efforts of the contractor because they showed the great efforts. Previously, on March 25, during a field trip, at the T5 abutment construction package, the Chairman set a deadline: he would come back to inspect, and officials, employees and workers on the site must pledged to be completed in his next visit. And this time, although one day later than the promise, it showed the relentless efforts of the construction contractor’s team of the 6th package at the T5 abutment.
Chairman Ho Minh Hoang inspected the project site
In order to ensure the implementation of the project, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang requested that the stakeholders in the project focused on the statistics of the sections where the construction of the soft ground would take long to prioritize the implementation first; statistics and reporting were required, with measures to implement synchronously the measures before May 15 th to have an overall plan.
To ensure the deployment, the Chairman asked the Project managers to work with DEOCA Group to review the capital plan to promote the early purchase of key materials for construction implementation: sand, wick absorbent for the execution. In the condition that the state capital has been recorded but not yet disbursed, the Chairman also noted that the Group paid attention to supporting the materials so that all of them could move together, not to let the bidding packages because of lack of money and lack of materials and stalled.
In order to ensure project safety and security, the Chairman requested construction units to work with previous material suppliers, clearly defined and existing debts to avoid affecting the simultaneous deployment of other bidding packages.
The Chairman requested Project managers to direct Project management consultant to unify the forms on the whole project, to review and issue the procedures for dissemination. At the same time, it is required to publish the diagrams and lists of Project management consultant, Supervision consultant and Contractor management board and Contractors to publish on the tables throughout the entire bidding packages of the project, in order to synchronize the promotion of quality control amount. The Chairman also reminded that “salaries and bonuses are the only legal income” to disseminate to all project participating units.
When inspecting the opening of the second office in Cai Be, the Chairman requested that this second office be put into operation soon to ensure that the entire route could focus on working parties and connect to support immediately when implementing the project. Earlier, the investor had opened and put into operation the first office in Cai Lay in April 2019.
