Today, January 15, 2021, marks the 1-year milestone that Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway officially put into operation, immersing in the North-South traffic flow, contributing to infrastructure and socio-economic development of the northern mountainous provinces.

Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway has a total length of 64 km, the starting point is at Km45+100 (intersection with National Road 1 at Mai Sao commune, Chi Lang district, Lang Son), the end point at Km109+660, connecting with the National Road 1 upgrade and expansion project, section Hanoi - Bac Giang in the form of BOT (belonging to Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province), under the investment project to build Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway.

After one year of being put into operation, Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway Project has served more than 1.5 million safe vehicle trips.

In order to modernize toll collection technology and facilitate users, after the direction of the Ministry of Transport, required BOT investors to deploy an electronic toll collection system (VETC) at toll collection projects, Bac Giang - Lang Son BOT Joint Stock Company has cooperated with Vietnam Digital Traffic Joint Stock Company (VDTC) and VETC Electronic Toll Collection Company (VETC) to deploy and install automatic toll collection system. Up to now, the operation of the equipment system is stable.

Through the effects and benefits of Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway Project in the past year, through the management and operation, the Board of Directors of Bac Giang - Lang Son BOT Joint Stock Company believes that this will be a lever for other expressways in the Northeast region to be deployed, creating a seamless traffic route, connecting the northern mountainous provinces to Hanoi capital, thereby creating favorable conditions for Vietnam to trade with neighboring China.
