Vice Chairman Tran Van The received the Red Star Award 2019

Mr. Tran Van The - Vice Chairman of Deo Ca Group is one of 100 young Vietnamese businessmen honored to receive the Red Star Award in 2019.

The awarding ceremony "Red Star - Typical Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs in 2019” and “the 20th Anniversary of Red Star Award" was held on the evening of December 18, 2019, at the National Convention Center, Hanoi. This program is organized by the Vietnam Youth Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Central Committee and the Red Star Entrepreneur Club.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Red Star Award. Over three rigorous, meticulous rounds: pre-qualification - evaluation – final qualification, the Voting Council selected 100 typical young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in 2019. Candidates are graded based on the main criteria are Total assets, Equity, Total revenue, Budget remittance, Profit after tax, Profit / Equity ratio, Number of employees, Average labor income; working process; the role and contribution of individuals in the enterprise and the contributions to the local and community.

Enterprises of 100 young entrepreneurs who won awards this year generated revenue of VND 109 trillion in 2018, gaining a profit of VND 6,984 billion, contributing to the State budget VND 5,691 billion, creating jobs for 64,560 employees.

The Red Star Award is a noble award awarded by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association for excellent young entrepreneurs who made many contributions in the country's socio-economic development. Deployed since 1999, Red Star is the first award in Vietnam vote for honor young entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in management and operation of production and business activities, which are typical examples arousing the entrepreneurship among the young generation of Vietnam.

Over the past two decades, the Award has selected nearly 400 typical young entrepreneurs, including 107 entrepreneurs awarded the Red Star Award, many of whom have grown businesses to the top of the country, being named by Forbes magazine as world billionaires.
