At 15:10 February 9, 2021, a truck with control plate 29H-44174 moved in Lang Son – Hanoi direction, driven by Mr. Ha Van Hau, residing in Cat Van commune, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province. When arriving at Km63 +500 (on the right side) of Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway, the truck spontaneously caught fire, the driver drove the vehicle to stop in the emergency lane.

Getting information from the Traffic Control Center, the Operation management center immediately ordered the Fire fighting and rescue force to approach the scene.

At the same time, the Operation management center also reports to the Fire protection police of Lang Son Provincial Police, the Traffic Police Team 2 - Room 8 - C08 and duty officer of Chi Lang Police Department, Lang Son Province to coordinate handling.

In about 15 minutes (at 15:25) the fire fighting and rescue force of Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway Operation Management Enterprise approached the fire truck, conducted regulating traffic, ensuring traffic safety and fire fighting. Because the goods on the vehicle are flammable materials, combined with windy weather conditions, the fire fighting work faced with many difficulties. Until 17:00, after more than 1 hour of struggling with the fire, professional firefighting forces and firefighting forces of the Operation management center can completely handle the fire. According to the initial records, there was no human damage, the truck 29H-4417 and all cargo was burned down. Traffic through the scene remains normal. Currently, the incident’s cause is being investigated and resolved by the Fire Police of Lang Son province.

Through a brief exchange, the representative of the operation management center said: “During 2021 Lunar New Year, the company has developed a plan and organized to regularly maintain patrol and control traffic, remain rescue force, ready to handle if any incident happen”.
