Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon test to understand Deoca culture

On August 10, 2023, at the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project, the Project's BOM coordinated with the training department to organize the Deoca Cultural Festival.

Participants are employees constructing and producing at the XL1, XL2, and XL3 bidding packages of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project. The jury consists of the Project Executive Board and the training assistant board headed by Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy - Deputy General Manager of the Group.

Overview of the contest

Speaking at the opening of the contest, Mr Nguyen Quang Huy said the most crucial goal of the Deoca Cultural Festival is for employees to have a better and deeper understanding of the Group's culture, operations, and management style of the Chairman.

"The contestants at this contest will become the factors spreading Deoca culture to all employees working at the project. From there, creating solidarity, trust and excitement in carrying out assigned tasks, contributing to bringing the project to its destination on time," said Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy.

The competition jury

The contest had the participation of 14 teams, each team consisting of 3 members. The exam format includes a presentation and question and answer. The jury scores directly through each part of the competition. The teams took turns drawing questions and presenting their understanding of the cultural features of the Deoca Group.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, contestants demonstrate their deep understanding of the Group's culture by telling and analyzing real-life work stories that reflect those cultural features. In addition, candidates also have the opportunity to demonstrate their teamwork skills, ability to present confidently, answer fluently, logically, and to the point,... and the ability to handle situations posed by the jury.

The training team said this is a playground for workers to exchange and interact to learn more about Deoca's culture, people, and style. After learning and comprehending Deo Ca culture, employees limit conflicts during work, thereby improving labour productivity and product quality.

After a day of exciting competition, the Deoca Cultural Festival ended successfully and effectively, bringing many practical meanings. The collective First Prize went to Team No. 8, and the Individual First Prize went to contestant Nguyen Dai Duong - Team No. 8.
