On July 19, 2025, in Tuy Hoa (Dak Lak province), DEOCA Group held a launch event of a special music album titled “DEOCA’s melodies through the years”. Featuring nine remarkable songs, the project is a unique artistic project to celebrate the Group’s 40th anniversary, and serves as a heartfelt tribute to those who have stood by DEOCA throughout its four-decade journey.
The event gathered the Advisory Council, the Group’s leadership, and nearly 200 distinguished guests, including current and former leaders of government agencies, representatives of strategic partners, members of the press, DEOCA employees from different generations as well as family members of the Group’s senior leadership.
Music is the depth of DEOCA’s people
At the launch event of the music album “DEOCA’s melodies through the years”, “To me, music is not just an art form. It is a vital tool in leading the organization through challenges, step by step, to overcome obstacles, and turning unconventional thinking into a competitive edge for the business,” Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DEOCA Group said.
“To me, music is not only an art form but also an important tool in leading the organization through challenges, step by step, to overcome obstacles and turn distinctive thinking into exceptional advantages for the business,” he added.
Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DEOCA Group spoke at the event.
Reviewing the notable tracks in the album, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang emphasized that through melodies, the people of DEOCA have skillfully embedded the Group’s management philosophies in lyrics, expressing perseverance, aspiration, and gratitude toward their homeland, the nation, and family. Early works include “Song through the mountain”, “Mekong aspiration”, and “A day-to-day calculation”.
Throughout its journey through adversity, DEOCA has faced countless challenges, proving that the trust placed in them by the Party, local authorities, and the public was well-founded. The people of DEOCA use music as a source of inspiration and self-motivation. During difficult times, employees have turned to songs and melodies to convey messages and appeal to agencies and partners for joint problem-solving.
At times, they sang while working, raised their voice against stagnation and expressed the urgent aspirations of the public (Mekong aspiration). Sometimes, the song comes only after the work is done, such as “Legend of a road”, written upon the completion of the Deo Ca tunnel project. And sometimes, the melody arrives first, before the work begins, becoming a source of inspiration, like “Cao Bang’s aspiration to reach further”.
The Group’s leadership performed the song “Legend of a road” together.
Music has also been a medium for DEOCA to share its story, corporate philosophy, and cultural values with the public. Even in internal training, the Group has incorporated music creatively. For instance, “True values” song has been integrated into university lectures on administration and risk management, or “A day-to-day calculation” song has blended Christian and Buddhist philosophies to guide and inspire the workforce.
More importantly, music has always reflected DEOCA’s core value of “Gratitude”. Among its most notable works are “Silently”, dedicated to the company’s advisors, and “The road worker”, which honors the quiet sacrifices for their profession. “This special album is also our sincerest tribute to the advisors, the workforce, and their families, who have stood alongside DEOCA through ups and downs,” Mr. Ho Minh Hoang added.
Marking the release as part of the Group’s 40th anniversary celebrations, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang also expressed appreciation not only for those who supported DEOCA, but also for those who once doubted the feasibility of DEOCA’s early project. “Their skepticism became the driving force for DEOCA Group to grow stronger, more mature, and more determined to go further,” he emphasized.

With their remarkable efforts and immense contributions, they were the pioneers who laid the foundation for our success today, which is not just about infrastructure projects but about extraordinary achievements." Composer Kevin Chinh, who wrote the album “DEOCA’s melodies through the years,” revealed that it was the first epic song in his career and his first collaboration with DEOCA Group. “It took me five days of reflection on DEOCA’s philosophies, such as ‘Think different, make difference’ and ‘The destination lies ahead’, to capture the spirit and ambition of the Group. Forty years is a short span compared to Vietnam’s 4,000 years of history, but DEOCA’s contribution to the nation and its people is significant.
