On January 10, 2020, Vice Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Ho Tien Thieu chaired a meeting to consider the conditions and time to announce the decision of putting into operation the section from Km45 + 100 to Km109 + 660 of Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway as the petition of the investor.

Attending the meeting were representatives of Bac Giang People's Committee, related departments of Bac Giang and Lang Son provinces; Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade - Hanoi Branch and Bac Giang - Lang Son BOT Joint Stock Compay.

Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway

At the meeting, Mr. Ho Tien Thieu highly appreciated the efforts of investors and related parties in completing and putting Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway into operation to serve people for free in the occasion of Lunar New Year.

Mr. Ho Tien Thieu agreed to put the expressway into free operation during the Lunar New Year to evaluate the entire toll collection system, the traffic safety assurance system in order to complete and put the expressway into official operation. Lang Son provincial People's Committee propagandizes to the people about the operation plan of the expressway to ensure traffic security and safety.

Lang Son Provincial People's Committee - The competent State management agency agreed to put the project into operation for free during the Lunar New Year, starting from January 15, 2020.

Regarding difficulties about the financial plan of the project, Mr. Ho Tien Thieu emphasized that the People's Committee of Lang Son province will work with stakeholders to have a plan to report to the Government and National Assembly in the first quarter of 2020.

Bac Giang - Lang Son BOT Company proactively petitioned Lang Son Provincial People's Committee to put the project into operation for free in order to timely serving the urgent travel needs of people in the traditional Tet holiday, and whereby to evaluate the entire toll collection system, traffic safety assurance system, continue to review, collate data and assess traffic flow, and other influences in order to ensure the safe & uninterrupted operating of the project.

The effort to bring the expressway into operation for free during the traditional New Year shows the humanity of investors towards the people and society. This also has done by Deo Ca Group in previous projects such as putting Cu Mong tunnel into free operation to serve travel needs of the Lunar New Year last year.
