On July 11, 2021, the right tunnel of Bao Bien Tunnel Project connecting Ha Long city with Cam Pha city (Quang Ninh province) has been excavated through. This is one of the imporrtant milestones in the construction of the Project.
At 11.00 PM, the last detonator was activated and two ends of the tunnel was through. Leaders of Deo Ca Group, members of Advisory Council of the Group, leaders of Department of Transport and some other agencies of Quang Ninh, all employees working for the Project witnessed that meaningful moment.

“1, 2, 3 Deo Ca! 1, 2, 3 Quang Ninh!…”, the sound of tunnel diggers resounded in the heart of the mountain with excitement and pride.
Mr. Cao Ngoc Nam - Deputy Director of the PMU told: “In order to ensure high accuracy when locating the heart of the tunnel, one surveyor measured no more than two consecutive tunnel mirrors. At the end of each week there was cross-check between surveyors. Therefore, we have correctly drilled the heart of the tunnel 99.9%. That is the success of all employees of Deo Ca Group in the Project”.

The excavation of the right tunnel of the Project, which was ahead of schedule despite of negative influences the Covid-19 pandemic, was highly appreciated by the leaders of Quang Ninh.
The Project has been tunneled since December 2020 by Deo Ca Group. After 8 months of continuous construction, up to now, the items have been completed basically. The tunnel is 235m long and 13,7m wide, including two tunnels, each tunnel includes three lanes with design speed of 60km/h. This is one of the key projects of Quang Ninh, which has attracted special attention of the provincial leaders.

Currently, Deo Ca Contractor is still deploying 4 construction works with 3 shifts/day. The right tunnel has been 216.4m/216.4m completed. The left has been 121.4m/215.6m completed. The temporary tunnel is 100% completed, the basement holes of the tunnel exits are 100% completed. The Contractor was spectacularly ahead of schedule with those results. It is expected that by the end of this year, the Project will have been completed and gaven a gorgeous tunnel to Quang Ninh.
In Quang Ninh, besides Bao Bien Project, Deo Ca Group is implementing a number of other projects such as Cua Luc 1 Bridge, Cua Luc 3 Bridge with a total investment of nearly 4,000 billion VND.

In order to implementing some key projects in Quang Ninh, Deo Ca Group is currently constructing a number of North - South Expressway projects in the East such as: Mai Son - National Road 45, Nghi Son - Dien Chau Expressway, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway, My Thuan 2 Bridge, My Thuan - Can Tho Expressway, Cam Lo - La Son Expressway with total value of more than 12 trillion VND.
