In the morning of February 18th, 2019, the delegation of Deo Ca Group Corporation was led by Mr. Ho Nghia Dung, the former Member of the Party Central Committee - Quang Ngai Provincial Party Secretary, the former Minister of Ministry of Transport, Chairman of the Advisory Council of Deo Ca Group visited and gave VND 200 million to support Vo Hong Son Center for Disabled Children in Quang Ngai Province. Accompanying were Mr. Le Viet Chu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Quang Ngai Provincial Party Secretary.

Vo Hong Son Center for Disable Children is a non-public social support facility, based on and nonprofit operation. The center was established in 2014 from the initial help of the family of the late journalist Vo Hong Son - Former Deputy Editor-in-chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.
Of which, the mother of the late journalist Vo Hong Son had donated more than 4,500m² of land to build this Center located in Cho Chua Town, Nghia Hanh District, Quang Ngai Province.
Deo Ca Group's Leaders awarded VND 200 million to sponsor Vo Hong Son Center for Disable Children
The Center was established to contribute with the province in bring up, creating jobs and treating disable children, so that they may have a better life, eliminate complex and integrate into the community. Vo Hong Son Center for Disable Children is also a place for all compassionate hearted people to do charity works, contributing to ensuring the social security of the province.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Director of the Center, said that in the school year (2018-2019), teaching literacy and vocational training by the center are completely free for 144 children, increased of 28.5% compared to those of the previous school year, of which 31 deaf children. Children are learned literacy from 6 to 15 years old and children from 16 to 30 years old are trained.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha also said that, the Center is currently teaching 5 occupations including: industrial sewing, industrial embroidery, informatics technology, cooking and drawing. “In order to maintain our operations, we have been supported and assisted of provincial and district leaders and especially benefactors,” Ms Ha said.
“In the past, the Center has been sponsored by benefactors with 35 industrial sewing machines, 20 computers and 2 industrial embroidery machines. In addition to the rolling students, we also recruit students passed the exam to work in the divisions of the Center,” Ms. Ha said.
Students at Vo Hong Son Center for Disable Children
Speaking at the donation ceremony, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung expressed his emotion when he returned to Quang Ngai Province and visited the Vo Hong Son Center for Disable Children.
He said that he has come back to the Center for many times and every time he sees new developments and new models of activities in the Center to help the unfortunate disabled children. “In the vibrant life with a lot of fierce competition, but the Center has hearts, social and humanitarian activities like here, in a peaceful countryside, are very respectful and very meaningful. This make us very touched. I hope that every year, when coming back, I will see new development steps and new models in the Center,” Mr. Ho Nghia Dung said.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Deo Ca Group’s leaders, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung also gave VND 200 million to the Center.
It is known that, in 2018, Deo Ca Group also gave VND 200 million to the Center. This is a regular activity, promoting the traditional spirit of mutual love and affection of Vietnamese, thereby also demonstrating the responsibility of Group to the social community. Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of Deo Ca Group, said that the Group will maintain this sponsorship in the coming years.
