On September 26, 2021 at FLC Sam Son city, Thanh Hoa province, Deo Ca Group collaborated with Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital to organize a training course on "caring for covid-19 patient at home" for 30 employees of the Group directly and through online system. The training class was guided by Dr. Le Thi Dung - Doctor of Tropical Diseases Department and two assistants are Master Le Thi Trang - Deputy Head of Training and Ms. Chung Thi Thuy, a nurse of Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital.

The lesson provided the instruction to take care and detect abnormal signs in caring for Covid-19 patients at home, and introduce respiratory function exercises to Covid-19 patients.

The participants were also equipped with skills in self-collecting samples for rapid testing of Sars-Cov-2 virus antigen, how to use medical oxygen cylinders at home, and the notes on using SpO2 measuring devices.

The content, quality and subjects of the training course are in accordance with the professional requirements prescribed by the Ministry of Health; the trainees were evaluated and granted a certificate by Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital if they meet the requirements.

Master Le Thi Trang said that Deo Ca Group was the first enterprise to ask Thanh Hoa hospital for training covid-19 prevention. The doctor shared: “A strong business needs not only good employees but also healthy employees both physically and mentally. Therefore, businesses that care deeply about the health of their employees can minimize absenteeism because of sick.

From the early days when Covid-19 appear in Vietnam, the Chairman of Deo Ca Group directed to establish Covid-19 prevention department. Accordingly, the information about the epidemic is continuously updated to staff, the implementation of epidemic prevention was closely controlled.

The trainees are practicing

When the epidemic broke out strongly in the South, 35 employees of Trung Luong - My Thuan project (Tien Giang province) were F0, 322 cases were F1 and F2. The patients were promptly contacted to medical centers for treatment, the F1, F2 carried out concentrated isolation, the other 406 cases were self-isolated on the spot. Up to now, 35 patients have recovered from the disease, and the project activities have returned to a new normal, thousands of workers have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
