On the evening of December 1, 2022, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of Deo Ca Group, met the BOM of package 12 - XL (Thung Thi tunnel) under the Mai Son - National Road 45 expressway project. Mr. Ho Minh Hoang appointed one vice chairman to keep watch closely all work and focus on machinery and human resources for Thung Thi. The leaders of Deo Ca encouraged the employees in the package, working day and night to ensure the progress assigned by the Minister of Transport.

On the same day, advisors Tran Chung, Bui Van Ha, and Duong Dang Hue visited the construction site and worked with the BOM to assess and advise on issues related to the package.
During the meeting, Mr. Pham Duy Hieu - Deputy General Director of DCG and the BOM, reported on the implementation of the package.
Accordingly, the Minister of Transport directed DCG to replace the work of Hoang Long Corporation, completing the project and putting it into operation before 31 On December 12, 2022. Therefore, Thang Long PMU chaired a meeting with the contractors' consortium and supervision consultants. They all agreed to transfer the construction section Km307+000 - Km307+600 of Hoang Long to Deo Ca. Up to now, the resources have been concentrated by Deo Ca on the site to strengthen the construction.

Notably, two construction positions are under load, waiting for settlement while the completion milestone is close, requiring more time. In addition, during the construction process, the BOM faced many other difficulties, such as escalating material prices, scarcity of material supply, and unfavorable weather.
Constructing day and night
After inspecting the site and listening to the report, Assoc. Prof. PhD. Tran Chung - Standing Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council, praised the timely participation of DCG and the BOM. The advisors highly appreciated the scientific thought, technical professionalism, quick identification and finding solutions to overcome the difficulties of the BOM. Assoc. Prof. PhD. Tran Chung advised methods to treat soft soil, verify the legal status of material suppliers, and focus on machinery and equipment management and regular maintenance.
"There should be remuneration regimes to encourage the working spirit of engineers and workers. The public, fair and worthy encouragements will enhance the overall work efficiency", said Advisor Tran Chung.
Package 12-XL belongs to the Mai Son - National Road 45 Expressway Project, which has a total length of 6.6km in Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province. It includes a 680m-long Thung Thi tunnel, two bridges, and more than 5.7km of roads. Its total investment amount is more than 1,344 billion VND, with the design speed of phase 1 being 80km/h.
