The apologetic letter to the Chairman of the Group

On the New Year visit to managers and workers at Deo Ca TMC, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang asked Deputy Director Nguyen Ngoc Phu about personal information of the leader, the Group’s message in 2020, some contents about necessary background knowledge, the sense of conveying management perspective and Deo Ca’s corporate culture, etc.

Not properly answering questions from the Chairman due to lack of attention to these issues, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phu was very tormented and wrote a letter to Chairman Ho Minh Hoang to admit his fault. The content of the letter is as follows:

Dear Chairman,

My name is Nguyen Ngoc Phu, Deputy Director of Deo Ca Tunnel Operating Enterprise. First of all, I'm very sorry for not remembering your birthday. I am very tormented about this, because it does not simply shows the disregard of the basic leader’s information but it shows the weakness in my work. I'm ashamed of my MBA degree, although I understand the theories but in reality I don’t. I myself manage nearly 200 employees but has not conveyed the management perspective of the leadership to build the corporate culture that the Chairman has worked so hard to create.

When Chairman asked about me, I was startled because your message was very clear: “I know a lot about you and see you as my brothers” (even though I’m only a middle manager of a nearly 5000 personnel organization). I realized that it was my own omission, no matter how well I complete my professional work, it cannot be taken as an excuse. As the Deputy Director of the Enterprise, I have neglected to build corporate culture as well as inspire, disseminate the "grateful" culture foundation for subordinates.

This is a very serious mistake and I will accept all forms of discipline from Chairman and Group. I hope Chairman will give me an opportunity, I promise to focus on training and inspiring all of the employees at the Operating factory and toll booths. I commit to do my every effort to make 100% of the employees here understand the management perspective and cultural foundations as well as be imbued the core values of the organization. Once again I'm sorry Chairman and very embarrassed about this.

On the occasion New Year, I wish Chairman and your family a new year filled with happiness, health, fortune and will always be the fire of enthusiasm to inspire the Group to achieve the goal of bringing prosperous and safe life to the country and people of Vietnam.
