On January 17, 2020, in Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy Minister of Transport (MOT) Le Anh Tuan came to the private house of Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of Deo Ca to give flowers and New Year’s greeting.

Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan highly appreciated the achievements made by Mr. Ho Minh Hoang and Deo Ca Group in 2019. On behalf of the MOT, Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan thanked Mr. Ho Minh Hoang and Deo Ca Group, and also highlighted the importance of transportation projects that the Group will continue to implement in 2020 for the country.

Deo Ca Group started 2019 with a national event, putting into operation Cu Mong tunnel through Cu Mong Pass with over 2 km long, the second longest tunnel in the Central region, conquerring the last mountain pass on the North-South route. Recently, on January 15, 2020, Deo Ca Group officially opened Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway for free on the Lunar New Year occasion. Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway and Cu Mong Tunnel are 2 of the 4 key projects of the transport industry in 2019.

April 2019, The Group undertook a tough project named Trung Luong - My Thuan. The Group has taken drastic, steady and effective steps so that today, the opportunity to complete the project in 2021 is widely open.

In September, in the Central region, the Group completed the digging of Hai Van 2 with more than 6,200 meters long - the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia safely and on time.

Deputy Minister Le Tuan Anh stated that 2020 will be the year to witness many important milestones of the Group, and he also request the Group to keep striving to achieve new and bigger achievements in the field of national infrastructure investment.
