On November 2, 2022, Deputy Minister of Transport Le Anh Tuan had a field visit to Cam Lam - Vinh Hao project, invested by Deo Ca - Company 194.

At the project site, Mr. Dang Tien Thang - Deputy General Director of Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway Joint Stock Company (Project Enterprise) reported to the delegation on the project implementation.
According to Mr. Thang, on the segment Km92+260-Km134+000, Deo Ca Group has mobilized more than 1,500 workers and more than 500 machinery and equipment into the project for construction. In which, there are many modern equipment newly invested to suit the actual geological conditions and specific items such as tunnel drilling equipment, rotary drilling rigs to break hard rock for pile construction, crushing stations, mixing stations, etc.
Investment in machinery and equipment is one of the measures to improve construction efficiency, contributing to shortening the construction time by 3 months under the direction of the Prime Minister as well as getting ready for the jobs at the North - South expressway project phase 2 when assigned.
Currently, Deo Ca’s segment has an output of 1,460/4,546 billion VND, equivalent to 32.1% of the total value of the bidding packages, exceeding 5% of the plan. The segment Km54+000-Km92+260 implemented by Company 194 has mobilized about 500 employees and more than 250 construction equipment. Output reached 810/3,041 billion, equivalent to 26.6% of the total value of the bidding packages.
Inspecting the construction site, Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan highly appreciated Deo Ca Group’s capacity in organizing construction, well applying technology in management and construction, thereby exceeding 5% of the plan.
The representative of the project enterprise also raised proposals and recommendations to the leaders of the Ministry of Transport to consider and solve the mechanism of material price compensation, adjust the design of the road surface structure, and supplement the planning of the rest station. Besides, project enterprises have proposed to the Ministry of Transport to complete the construction of the intersection connecting DT709 with Cam Lam - Vinh Hao right in the first phase of the project.
For the above recommendations, the Deputy Minister requested the PMU 85 and the Department of Planning and Investment to consider the report on the DT709 intersection construction plan and capital sources to soon deploy the DT709 intersection in order to create a driving force for socio-economic development, promote the connecting effectiveness of the North-South expressway to Ca Na general seaport and the southern economic zone, as well as connected synchronously with the local road system.
Cam Lam - Vinh Hao is a component project of the North-South expressway in the East, phase 1. This is one of three North-South expressway projects implemented under the public-private partnership (PPP) method. The route has a length of 80km passing through 3 provinces of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, of which the section goes through Khanh Hoa 5km, Ninh Thuan 63km and Binh Thuan 12km.
