In the evening of September 27th, at Cao Bang Province People’s Committee, the Provincial Chairman had a working session with Deoca Group Joint Stock Company on Tra Linh (Cao Bang) – Dong Dang (Lang Son) highway project.

At the beginning, Mr. Hoang Xuan Anh, Deputy Province Committee Secretary, Cao Bang Provincial People’s Committee Chairman expressed his pleasure to welcome Deoca Group leadership arriving to Cao Bang for researching, promoting investment and cooperation proposal in transportation infrastructure collectively and Tra Linh – Dong Dang Road project, connecting two provinces Cao Bang and Lang Son. Mr. Hoang Xuan Anh implied that: “it can be said that researching and building transportation construction will be a significant turning point for Cao Bang Province. Transportation since a long time has been the largest obstruction for Cao Bang economic, social development, due to divided terrain, separated by a long distance from big economic centers, not convenient for transportation and goods circulation demand in regions. We determine that developing transportation is an important step now; and Deoca Group arrival in Cao Bang at the difficult period for this region in calling for transportation investment as said above is truly a fortunately event for the region.

After the first step of finding, researching on Cao Bang Province current transportation infrastructure structure, in particular, Tra Linh – Dong Dang highway project, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang – Deoca Group had also voiced his opinion honestly, in the current context, investment and building a highway route with the length approximately 140 km as a leverage for economic – social development, was a meaningful deed, brought a long-lasting benefit for the region. However, he also considered that this is a work, a project would take a very “brave” investor, provincial leader and local … to reach an agreement and highly determine to hope for completion of such important highway project.
Mr. Ho Minh Hoang spoke up straightly: We had a fact-finding trip from Hanoi to Cao Bang with a distance of 300 km, passed through many “sharp turns”. From economic, social benefit perspective, we think that Cao Bang surely needed a more convenient road. Therefore, through this cooperation, we will answer such questions as: who are we? Where are we come from? … by specific steps in the near future.
After watching a Video Clip and introduction representation on Deoca Group, projects had and was implementing by Deoca, Mr. Trieu Dinh Le, Permanent Deputy Province Committee Secretary commented: “None of investor has researched seriously and thoroughly on highway project at Cao Bang as Deoca Group. This is an impressive starting point, which creates faith, professionalism from Deoca Group, we support this investment and cooperation project, and we also have a foundation to implement such project. Mr. Trieu Dinh Le further implied: It is absolutely required a highway to develop economics. The first priority shall be Tra Linh – Dong Dang highway. Cao Bang will utilize their best effort, accompanying with investor until the end. We hope that, this project is only an initial step at Cao Bang, and more projects will be coming in the future”.
After exchanging, representatives of both sides signed on minutes of work.

In the morning of the same date, Deoca Group leadership mission and Cao Bang Provincial People’s Committee had offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh Temple, planted memorial tree, visited Pac Bo Historical Monument, offered incense at Kim Dong Monument at Truong Ha Commune, Ha Quang District, Cao Bang Province.
