On the occasion of Vietnam Teacher’s Day (November 20), at the office in Hanoi, Deoca Group held a gratitude meeting for the teachers working for the Group. This is an activity reflecting the Group’s tradition of being deferential to teachers and respected for moral.
Gratefulness to teaching
Chairman of the Group, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang presented beautiful bouquets of flowers and congratulations on the holiday to the teachers. Deoca Group always has a large force of teachers, they are professors, doctors, masters, lecturers from the universities, some people are over 70 years old and young people as well who have just graduated abroad.
“On the occasion of November 20th, we congratulate and thank our teachers, hope that they will always stand side by us and make more contributions to make the Group grow in strength increasingly. Personally, I have worked with professors and teachers during the building and developing processes of the Group and my knowledge learned from the teachers has helped me very much. I have been taking advantage of the beginning days in Hanoi to study to improve myself with the subjects of economics and management. Then, through the process of working with mentors, I also learned many things. I really appreciate such knowledge”, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang said the beginning at the meeting.
The head of the Group affirmed that Deoca always created a good working environment for the teachers to develop their abilities. “The teachers working here are the lecturers in specialized subjects, who have been devoted for the schools, now they make dedication to the company, consider the company as a place for the teachers to contribute to the training to the Group to get the qualification officials. Seem to me that practice is inseparable from theory. During the process of building of an organization and implementation of projects, I always appreciate the continuous learning and striving myself”, he said.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Tran Chung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Senior Advisory Council thanked Chairman Ho Minh Hoang, and Deoca Group for appreciating teachers and the teachers’ knowledge. “Deoca itself has created the great attraction and inspiration for the experts, scientists like us to join forces for building. We ourselves, through the Group’s operations, have learned very much, and accumulated a lot of practical experience”, he said.
At a seminar on solutions to remove obstacles during the construction course of transport works in Vietnam, before a number of members of National Assembly, officials of Ministry of Transport and industry-led professionals, Prof. Nguyen Thuong said that, in this country, no construction works like Deoca’s projects, they are always met in accordance with the three criteria, first: quality, second: always ahead of schedule, third: reduce investment costs. Meanwhile, for other works, their cost have been increased, have just completed making problems in quality and time lasted very long.
From such evaluations, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D Tran Chung said that Deoca is also itself the challenges of scientific men. “Challenges to the Group, especially betaking into the new jobs, hard work requires us to constantly research,” he said.
Dr. Nguyen Huu Dung, a former General Director of A2Z Consultants, working for Deoca Group since 2012. “Knowledge at school is just basic. At the position of the head of the organization, gathering many good skills, especially the qualification of presentation, the ability to compact the issues that I have to learn for 6 years has provided with a lot of additional skills and experience to me and do my best for the development of the Group,” he said.
Thinking differently is a thought, practice will make a difference
Deoca Group has become an economic unit with high capacity and reputation now. Abundant staff with highly qualified, deeply and diversely professionals are gathered by the Group.
The Group’s personnel come from a variety of sources, different from training fields, research trends, educational levels, social relations and at various ages, especially the teachers, all have quickly merged into operation framework in a common ecosystem under the same roof. Under this home, all are imbued with the spirit of “Think differently, making a difference”.
In its journey, Deoca Group has created and proud of its core philosophy of combining theory and practice when changes always in theoretical issues in school into practice and such practical experiences will be returned to consolidate the theoretical knowledge, theories will be strengthened and supported each other. Academic is changed from the school to the construction site so that these two categories are inseparable, increasingly closer together to build a foundation for the Group’s system.
Chairman of Board of Directors, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang emphasized: “Our power is neither an influence nor relationship and money. Our power is “Think differently, making a difference”. Think differently is the theory for learners, the practice will help us to make a difference.
The study of Cao Bang - Lang Son Expressway has created a lot of benefits for the country. From the total investment cost of this road up to VND 47,000 billion estimated by other research units, we have come up with a much more available problem when the reduction is reached at 55% of total investment cost. That is the result from theory and practice which is condescending each other. If no theory, it would be not dare align. If Deoca had no practice of making a successful tunnel, it could not dare to propose to excavate up to 6 tunnels for this expressway. ”
November 20 is an opportunity for the Group to congratulate the teachers as well as an opportunity to understand each other and create the useful products to society.
