Training first aid skills for secretaries, drivers and handywomen.

On September 18, 2021, Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company (DCG) cooperated with Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital to train on-site first aid skills for secretaries and drivers and handywomen in DCG. The training course aimed to enhance the ability to proactively and calmly respond in time when unexpected incidents occur.

There were four trainers, which include Dr. Pham Phuoc Sung - Head of Training Department, Master Le Duy Long - Doctor of HSTC1 Department, Master Dao Van Quang - Vice Dean of Burn Department, Mr. Dam Van Thiet – Nurse leader of Trauma Department, in addition. There were also two teaching assistants, which include Master Le Thi Trang - Deputy Head of Training Department, Specialist Le Thi Thu Huong - Training Department.

Master Dao Van Quang instructed basic first aid skills to DCG’s employees

The content of the first-aid training course including knowledge and practical skills to respond to rare incidents that happen to leaders, colleagues and themselves during work. On the cource, DCG’s employees were trained in wound dressing skill, temporary hemostasis skill, temporary fracture fixation skill, cardiopulmonary resuscitation skill, burn first aid skill, and methods of transporting injured persons safely without stretcher or by stretcher for first aid.

Mr. Dao Van Quang affirmed that first aid training is necessary. Occupational accident cases receiving first aid slowly or improperly face serious consequences. Proper first aid is very important to save many people in dangerous situations. The fact that DCG regularly organizes training courses for the employees can help them stay calm to cope with incidents.

Representing the employees trained, Mr. Le Duc Truong - Secretary of the Advisory Council’s permanent Vice Chairman, shared: "The on-site first aid training course not only helped the employees enhance knowledge, but also contribute to meeting the requirements of daily work. Through the course, we learnt new skills. On behalf of the employees, I am thankful to the DCG's leaders for organizing this practical course".

The training course was organized in accordance with the professional requirements specified in Article 07, Section 03 of the Circular No. 19/2016/TT-BYT. Whole participants achieved good results and will be granted a satisfactory certificate by Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital.
