Deo Ca Transport Infrastructure Joint Stock Company (DII) said that it has transported people and vehicles through the Deo Ca - Co Ma tunnel with fee during the Lunar New Year - 2020. The service starts from 6 am on January 14, 2020 (lunar December 20, 2019) until 22pm on February 2, 2020 (lunar January 9, 2020). Transit time is from 6am to 21:12pm daily.
Deputy General Director of DII Company Le Chau Thang said that as required, motorbikes are not allowed to go through the tunnel, only through the pass route. However, it is difficult and unsafe to go on the pass route so the transshipment is to meet the travelling demand of people during Tet and ensure traffic safety when passing Ca pass.
The route for transshipment as follows:
+ The route to move North to South: Passengers go to the junction of National Road No.1(Km 1353 + 620), turn right to the inter-residential road of Hao Son village about 300m to Deo Ca 110kV transformer station, turn left and go 50m to Deo Ca Tunnel toll station. The ticket office, people, and vehicles gathered at Deo Ca tunnel toll station. Drop off passengers and vehicles at the Southern transit station (in Van Tho commune) located on National Road No.1.
+ The route to the move South to North: Passengers move to Km1374 + 525, National Road No.1, turn right toward Co Ma pass, move through underground sewer about 400m, to the right is the Southern Transit Station (in Van Tho commune). Ticket office, people and vehicles gathered here. Drop off passengers and vehicles at the Northern transship station. The fees listed by the Company with gear motorbike is VND 25,000 / unit, scooter motobike is VND 30,000 / unit, bicycle is VND 5,000 / unit, adult is VND 10,000 / person, children under 5 years of age VND 5,000 / person.
In order to be informed to people, Deo Ca Transport Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company has proposed the local authorities of Dong Hoa and Van Ninh districts to organize a notice on mass media to facilitate the travelling of people in the Lunar New Year occassion safety and convenience. DII also cooperates with Deo Ca Tunnel Operation Control factory during the implementation of the program to ensure safety and easy.
