Hai Van tunnel operating center and police force analyzed the situation and agreed on the plan to stop the car to ensure timely arrest, minimize the impact on other vehicles.

At 23:43 pm, the Hai Van Tunnel Control Center determined that the suspected vehicle had entered the tunnel and monitored it and notified the relevant parties to prepare to deploy forces according to the plan, when the suspected vehicle was over SS3 station (Km4 + 260), the Center has notified the on-site rescue team and used a 15-seat vehicle, with police forces accompanying to keep track of the criminals and simultaneously notify bodyguards and traffic police the south prepares to prevent the car. At the same time, the Center has ordered a small rescue vehicle (accompanied by police force) for departure.

At 23:55 pm, when the suspect car was about to exit the tunnel, it was stopped because the traffic police in front, immediately the police force on 2 small rescue vehicles (blocked in front of the south hatch) and 15-seat car ( followed from SS3 station) approached, forcing 4 people on the suspect vehicle to obey the search warrant.

After searching people and car, the police force seized a heroin cake of 330 grams and VND 480 million, four mobile phones. The case is being investigated extensively.

The Da Nang City Police Force thanked the Hai Van tunnel operating unit for its good coordination for promptly and safely suspect vehicles catching.
