At 23:09 on August 6, 2019, the Hai Van Tunnel Mangement Center (TMC) received information from the Drug and Crime Prevention Department of Da Nang Police Department proposed to coordinate monitoring and arresting a suspect drug traffickers are moving from the north to the Hai Van tunnel.

Hai Van TMC coordinates with functional forces to arrest criminals

The forces of authorities has informed the North Hai Van toll station, directed the rescue force, fire protection and fighting, security guards at the Northern entrance, informed the rescue force in the tunnel to promptly handle when the vehicle enters the tunnel.

Simultaneously directing rescue force, fire protection and fighting, security forces in coordination with the traffic police and the police force of the border guard to regulate the traffic flow to prevent the criminal’s vehicle from leaving the tunnel.

At 02:43 a.m, the suspicious car which has control plate 43A-061.37 enter the North entrance. When the car came to the tunnel entrance, the tunnel rescue force together with the traffic police, the border police to escort the car into the square area, control the subjects and hand over to the police force.

After examining, police forces seized 1200 synthetic drugs transferred by Nguyen Hai Nam and wife Cao Thi Hoa, who are residing in Da Nang.

After the arrest completed, the city police force, border guard and Hoa Hiep Bac Traffic Police has highly appreciated the coordination of Deo Ca Group's leader as well as Hai Van TMC in order to timely arrest criminals, contributing effort with the police forces in detecting, fighting, preventing and destroying drug-related criminals and groups, sever important links in cross-province and inter-locality drug chains.
