Accordingly, the given hypothetical situation is at 15:30 pm on June 18, 2020, a 2.5-ton truck carrying flammable rubber tires is running through Deo Ca tunnel in Phu Yen - Khanh Hoa direction at speed of 70km/h. There is 1 driver and 1 assistant on the truck.

When ran into the tunnel at the point of 885m from the North entrance and 3,240m from the South entrance, the truck was suddenly short-circuited, causing fire under the cabin and then spread to the trunk of the car. The fire caused severely burned for the driver and assistant, particularly the assistant was trapped in the cabin and comatose due to smoke.

Rescuers quickly arrived to save the victims

As soon as the fire was discovered, Deo Ca Tunnel Management center immediately ordered to close two entrances, preventing vehicles from entering the tunnel. An ambulance brought rescue forces into the fire area to rescue and took 2 victims out of the tunnel to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment.

The fire was quickly extinguished, the broken truck was taken out and traffic returned to normal
